The HINES story began on the Oxford High Street in 1830 when Mr. William Hine first opened his bespoke gentlemen’s tailoring firm, marking the start of a tradition in fine quality textiles. Since 1979, Hines of Oxford has earnt a trusted reputation worldwide for enhancing home interiors with outstanding luxury furnishings. Still based in Oxford, the business has been owned by the same family since 1950 and remains dedicated to maintaining its original core values of fine quality, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Long Established
The Hines story started on Oxford High Street in 1830, the beginning of a long-established tradition in fine quality textiles, when Mr William Hine opened his gentlemen’s tailors and outfitters business. Manufacturing
With extensive manufacturing facilities in multiple locations throughout the United Kingdom, Hines are able to manufacture large quantities of home furnishings in very short periods of time to a consistent quality. Hines workshop manager has been running operations for over 25 years meaning that our customers only receive the best in class.
Family Business
We are a family-owned and operated business since 1979. The fourth generation of the Robertson family is now part of the company, ensuring the continuity of the values and service our customers have enjoyed for over 40 years. We understand family and pledge to treat all our clients as such.
