| Finish Options | There are 5 standard colour options available for all of the oak furniture on our website – click here to view the polishing options. Oak has a diversity of colour and grain and therefore the colour finishes may be taken as the most accurate guide possible. It is also possible to offer bespoke colour options, please contact us with any specific request. |
| Distressing Options | Each item of furniture is given an authentic level of distressing which is classified as 'Medium Distressed' as standard. We also offer the option of 'Light Distressing' (minimal ageing effect) or 'Heavy Distressing' (considerable ageing effect) as required. |

| Care Instructions | Your Oak Furniture will come freshly waxed from our workshops. We recommend polishing your Oak Furniture once a year using beeswax to protect and enhance the beauty of the timber and ensure that your furniture is kept pristine for years to come. For everyday use, wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth (not wet) and dry off with a soft dry cloth. Oak is a natural material, and it doesn't like extremes of heat and cold and it won't thrive in air-conditioned rooms or conservatories. Direct sunlight may fade the finish, and heat from radiators will dry your furniture out. It's a good idea to keep a gap between the wall and the back of your furniture, about 25mm. This lets air flow through, keeping the temperature stable and prolonging the life of your oak. |
Delivery
Hines Oak Furniture is normally delivered via a specialist furniture delivery company. Prices quoted online do not include delivery costs, please contact us for a delivery quote here. Alternatively, furniture can be collected from our Oxford showrooms.
Returns
Please note that Oak Furniture orders are not returnable unless damaged or faulty as they are custom/bespoke items.
Stock / Leadtime
We hold a small amount of Oak Furniture in stock you can find it here on our website, but the majority of orders are made to order. Typical leadtime for made to order pieces is 8-12 weeks.

We aim to keep everything in stock but this isn't always possible. Please call or email us if you need to check stock availability and we will be pleased to advise you on this products current status.

Tapestry Hanging Options
After selecting your tapestry and adding it to the shopping bag, you can choose your hanging rod option from the hanging rod page by clicking here.
Choosing the right size
The black bar part of the hanging rods are telescopic and will fit any tapestry widths that fall within the size range specified. For example, if your tapestry was 90cm wide you would need a Size 2 hanging rod. Note: The hanging rod can be slid in or out to show as little or as much of the black bar as you would like.

We also offer the option to pay by Bank Transfer and Cheque - simply select the option of your choice at checkout.
